Travel Adventure
Things went well until we got to Buenos Aires when a clerical error messed up the Reciprocity Certificates for one of us in the group. The certificate is needed for Canadians travelling to Argentina.
We were getting close to the specified time for check-in at the cruise terminal and panicked. We decided to split up the group and sent half of the group to the cruise terminal while the problem is being worked out. We managed to get daredevil taxi drivers to get us to the terminal as quick as we could. We still missed the time but it turned out that the Cruise is quite lax about their stated timeline for check-in and they would take you whenever, only because the ship would not leave until late the following day. The other group that was stuck at the airport also made it.
We also got separated from my sister who is sharing the room with us. This created a whole load of problems with registration, room card and credit card charges. Too much to tell ...
